On September 8, join together with thousands of San Diegans as we march alongside people at hundreds of actions around the world to demand immediate action on climate change. Workers, students, human rights activists, frontline, Indigenous and faith communities will act together to send a powerful message to our leaders:

Today, we’re at a #ClimateCrossroads. The Trump administration and the fossil fuel industry threaten the future of our planet, the safety of our communities, and the health of our families. We can’t wait to stand up and take action to demand the #FossilFree world we need.

On September 8, just before the Global Climate Action Summit brings local leaders from around the world to share climate solutions, the people will come together to march – both outside the Summit in San Francisco, and in hundreds of locations around the world. We will be marching here, to call for climate solutions in San Diego. Some San Diegans will be going to San Francisco.

We will march for our families, air, water, and land. We will march for a future with clean energy jobs and climate justice and in solidarity with those oppressed in our society. We will march for our communities and the people we love. We will commit to voting for climate champions.

We will meet at San Diego City Hall, 202 C Street, San Diego, CA 92101, on Civic Center Plaza at 10am. Live music, inspiring speeches, and participatory actions will be followed by a short march to South Embarcadero Park where we’ll have music, tabling, activities, voter registration, and a Kid’s Zone with games and facepainting.
